    Frequently asked

What are the best aesthetic courses in the UK?+
The strongest aesthetic courses in the UK combine CPD accreditation, a small live-model ratio (we cap to 4 delegates), a registered London training venue, and a structured route from foundation injectables through to certified credentials. Harley Street Institute delivers all four, with insurance recognised by Hamilton Fraser.
How long are the aesthetic courses at Harley Street Institute?+
Foundation, Advanced and most Masterclass aesthetic training courses run as intensive 1-day in-person sessions in central London. The Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (CAM) is a 3-day intensive, and the Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine (FAM) is a 10-day Manchester intensive.
Who can enrol on your aesthetic training courses?+
Practical aesthetic courses are restricted to UK-registered healthcare professionals — doctors (GMC), dentists (GDC), nurses (NMC), midwives, pharmacists and paramedics. Online aesthetic medicine courses are open to the wider public.
Are Harley Street Institute aesthetic courses CPD accredited?+
Yes. Every course is independently CPD-accredited via The CPD Group (provider #1001970), valid for GMC, GDC and NMC revalidation, and each completed hour also awards 1 AiCE point.
What does an aesthetic course cost?+
Foundation Botox + Dermal Fillers is £1,190 + VAT. Single-indication Masterclasses are £575–£1,190 + VAT. The Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (CAM) is £3,200 + VAT. The Clinical Aesthetic Dermatology (CAD) online programme is £350 inc VAT.
Do I get insurance cover after an aesthetic training course?+
Yes. All practical injectables courses are recognised by Hamilton Fraser Insurance — graduates are eligible for cosmetic medical malpractice cover from the day of completion.
What is the difference between an aesthetic course, a masterclass and a fellowship?+
A foundation course teaches a defined skillset (Botox + filler basics), a masterclass deep-dives one indication (e.g. tear-trough, jawline), the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine bundles foundation + advanced into a single certification, and the Fellowship (FAM) is a 10-day intensive mentored credential.
Where are the aesthetic courses held?+
All practical aesthetic training courses are delivered in person on Harley Street, London W1 — the historic centre of UK private medicine. The FAM fellowship intensive runs in Manchester.
Do you offer online aesthetic courses?+
Yes. CPD-accredited online theory companions are auto-included with every practical course, and the Clinical Aesthetic Dermatology (CAD) programme is delivered fully online for £350 inc VAT.
    Can I pay in instalments?+
Yes — Klarna and Clearpay are available at checkout on most aesthetic courses, and the Certificate and Fellowship programmes offer staged payment plans.

Choosing the right practical aesthetic course

Every practitioner’s pathway through aesthetic medicine begins the same way: a supervised foundation in Botox and dermal filler, on live models, in a small group. From there the road forks. Some clinicians stack half-day masterclasses to specialise — cannula technique, tear-trough rejuvenation, jawline sculpting, non-surgical rhinoplasty, lip enhancement, PDO threads, or energy-device fibre lift. Others move directly into a structured certification programme — CAM, FACE, the Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine or the Clinical Immersion Internship.

Every practical course at Harley Street Institute is CPD-accredited, capped to a maximum of four delegates, and delivered by working clinicians on our Harley Street site. All practical training is strictly restricted to registered healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives, pharmacists and paramedics). Online theory companions are open to all and are auto-included with every practical purchase.
