Our foundation botox and dermal fillers course is designed for clinicians entering injectables for the first time. Starting a career in aesthetic medicine shouldn't feel like entering a maze of complex terminology and overcrowded classrooms. At Harley Street Institute, we make your first step into aesthetics clear, structured, and genuinely confidence-building.
I attended the foundation Botox and fillers course with no previous experience in aesthetics. The course was well presented with an online package followed by practical training. Would highly recommend.

Great experience from start to finish! All staff were so kind and helpful. The trainer, Dr Hena, was very skilled and knowledgeable, she supported the group throughout the day to ensure we all felt confident.
Fantastic foundation course. Very hands-on with live models. The ratio of delegates to trainers was excellent. Left feeling confident and ready to start treating patients.

Combined Botox training and filler training in a single intensive day. Most programmes promise confidence but deliver confusion — too many slides, too many people, too little needle time. Our foundation Botox and dermal fillers course is structured very differently.
We keep it focused. We keep it small. This approach ensures beginner injectables training is practical, logical, and immediately applicable.
Personal attention guaranteed
Real treatments, not mannequins
Understanding-based teaching
Red-flag recognition
Over 95% of our graduates begin treating immediately after completing aesthetic medicine foundation training — not because we rush them, but because we teach combined botox and dermal fillers training in a way that makes sense.
This injectables foundation course is suitable for doctors, dentists, nurses, and other registered healthcare professionals entering entry-level injectables training:
Before attending the on-site injectables foundation training day, you will complete our online pre-learning modules. The pre-learning modules provide a grounding in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers training before hands-on practice:
This pre-course theory allows the terminology, anatomy, and concepts to settle in naturally, so you arrive prepared and confident. Because your online learning covers the theory, your in-person foundation training becomes almost entirely practical.
Your day begins with a relaxed discussion with your instructors. Instead of delivering another long lecture, we focus on clarification, questions, and preparation for hands-on practice.
And then you get straight to injecting.
Most of your foundation training day will be practical, guided work on real patients. You will inject, observe, refine, and repeat — with continuous feedback from Harley Street clinicians.
This is where knowledge becomes logic, and logic becomes skill.
This foundation aesthetic training focuses on safe, repeatable techniques rather than memorisation.

Yes. This foundation botox and dermal fillers course is specifically designed for medical professionals with no prior aesthetic experience. You will learn safe injection techniques from scratch with hands-on practice on live models under expert supervision.
To start practising Botox and dermal fillers in the UK, you must be a registered healthcare professional (doctor, dentist, nurse, or pharmacist), complete accredited training like our Foundation course, obtain appropriate insurance, and if you are not a prescriber, work with a licensed prescriber for Botox treatments.
Yes. This combined injectables course covers both botulinum toxin (Botox) and hyaluronic acid dermal filler training. You will learn injection techniques for upper face wrinkle treatment with toxin and lip, nasolabial fold, and perioral filler placement.
Yes. Upon successful completion, you receive a CPD-accredited Foundation Botox and Dermal Fillers Certificate from Harley Street Institute, recognised by major aesthetic insurers, enabling you to obtain insurance and begin practising immediately.
In order to enrol in aesthetic training courses at Harley Street Institute, you must be a nurse, surgeon, doctor, or dentist with an active registration with the GMC, GDC, or NMC, or an equivalent if you are a foreign delegate.
Yes. Attending our aesthetic training courses is open to anybody who is a medical professional—a surgeon, doctor, dentist, or nurse—and who is currently registered with their regulatory body. We would have to see documents of your registration and medical certifications, and we could only certify you to practise in the country where your registration is valid. Many of our international delegates decide to undertake a variety of courses on consecutive days. If you're interested in this, please get in touch with our course coordinators, who would be glad to put up a special course package that meets your training needs.
We are not affiliated with any finance firms at the moment. Nevertheless, we will talk about staggered payments. Every request is handled individually by us.
Please keep in mind that changing your course date is free. If you wish to cancel, you can either book on our next open date or receive a 75% refund of the total cost. You must inform us within two weeks before the course as arrangements for models and trainers are completed. For courses booked within two weeks, there is no refund.
We offer ongoing advice to all our past training delegates and form WhatsApp communities of similar practitioners for support. Ongoing support is vital to start your practice successfully. Our support groups (with over 120 aesthetic practitioners) are very responsive, with most queries answered immediately. You will be part of the community straight after your training course.
Unfortunately, no. At Harley Street Institute, only doctors, dentists, nurses, and pharmacists are eligible to attend the Botox and Dermal Filler Course.
Your training day begins with registration and an introduction to the course structure. You'll start with theoretical sessions covering anatomy, product knowledge, and safety protocols, followed by live demonstrations from our expert trainers. The afternoon focuses on hands-on practical sessions where you'll perform treatments under close supervision.
Practical sessions are conducted in small groups to ensure maximum hands-on experience. Each delegate works with professional models, performing injections under the direct supervision of our experienced trainers. You'll have the opportunity to practise multiple treatment areas and receive immediate feedback on your technique.
We ensure each delegate has sufficient model time to develop confidence in their injection technique. Typically, you'll work on multiple models throughout the day, allowing you to experience different facial anatomies and treatment requirements.
We have constructed our courses to provide you the best opportunity possible of passing your training course by offering exceptional hands-on experience, training materials, and supervisory support. If you don't meet the standards on the practical day, you'll be invited to another session to keep improving your skills and knowledge until you succeed. However, the delegate would incur additional expenses for that.
Our trainer-to-delegate ratio is kept deliberately low to ensure each participant receives personalised attention and guidance. Trainers observe every injection, provide real-time feedback, and are available to answer questions throughout the practical sessions.
Yes, we provide refreshments including tea, coffee, and light snacks throughout the day. A lunch break is scheduled, and we can recommend nearby restaurants and cafés in the Harley Street area.
You'll train with premium, market-leading products including popular Botox brands and a range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. This ensures you're familiar with the products you'll encounter in real clinical practice.
Major aesthetic insurers have approved our courses, so you can start practising as soon as you have contacted them and signed up. Moreover, you must work with a licensed prescriber for Botox® injections and Dermal Fillers if you are not a prescriber yourself. Many people are concerned about this part of the profession, but it might be simpler than you think to locate a local prescriber.

We advise delegates on foundation courses to complete their insurance and start practising immediately whilst training and knowledge is still fresh. Most practitioners begin by treating family and friends to start with.
That's ok! You can treat with fillers but would need to be attached to either a clinic or a prescriber. We can provide guidance on finding suitable prescribers in your area through our support network.
Perseverance is key. Unrealistic expectations will cause disappointment. Like any career, you need dedication and practice to make it a successful career. Our ongoing support and community will help guide you through the early stages of building your practice.
We are constantly looking for new Aesthetic Practitioners to become part of the CosmeDocs Team. You can ask for information on partnership opportunities to seek professional possibilities.
An honest word from your trainers
The Foundation Botox & Fillers Course is a strong start — but it is not a complete clinic. Before you commit, look at the maths below and consider upgrading to the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (CAM). It is the upgrade pathway we recommend to almost every trainee.
UK private-clinic averages. Monthly figure assumes a conservative 4 clinic days per month at full capacity. Your local pricing and patient volume will vary.
| Treatment | Price / session | Revenue / day | Revenue / month* | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| What this Foundation course alone unlocks | |||||
| Botox (3 areas) | £250 | £1,500 | £6,000 | ||
| Lip Filler (1ml) | £250 | £1,000 | £4,000 | ||
| Additional treatments unlocked by upgrading to CAM — the low-hanging fruit | |||||
| Skin Peel (medium-depth) Repeat course of 4–6 sessions per patient | £150 | £900 | £3,600 | ||
| Microneedling (face) Course of 3–4 sessions standard | £200 | £1,000 | £4,000 | ||
| Polynucleotides (per session) Protocol of 2–3 sessions | £400 | £2,000 | £8,000 | ||
| Profhilo (per session) 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart | £450 | £2,700 | £10,800 | ||
| PRP (face) 3-session course typical | £350 | £1,750 | £7,000 | ||
*Monthly figure based on 4 clinic days/month at full capacity for that single treatment. Real-world clinics blend treatments; your actual mix will determine total earnings.
Foundation Botox & Fillers — alone
~ £4,000–£6,000 / month
Realistic ceiling for a part-time injector relying solely on Botox & lip filler in the first year. Patient return cycle: every 3–4 months.
With Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (CAM)
~ £10,000–£14,000 / month
Same part-time clinic, but with skin treatments running monthly between injectable cycles. Patients return more often, and complication risk is lower.
Want the maths talked through honestly?
CAM combines Foundation, Advanced and the full Skin Rejuvenation Certificate. You can still book Foundation alone — but most trainees ask for the upgrade after the first day.
Our Foundation Botox & Dermal Fillers Course gives you the clarity, technique, and confidence to treat safely and professionally from your first appointment onwards.

Most delegates choose the combined Foundation Botox & Dermal Fillers course for the strongest clinical foundation and the best value. If you'd rather focus on a single modality first, you can train in either separately.
