No previous experience in medical aesthetics is necessary to undertake the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. However, having completed foundation courses in botox, dermal fillers, or skin peels is usually advantageous for your learning progression.

The programme takes a holistic approach, providing a strong foundation in Medical Aesthetics principles covering skin treatments, hyperkinetic lines, volume loss, early sagging skin, advanced facial contouring, and cosmetic medical treatments such as hyperhidrosis, bruxism, and migraines. We incorporate modular weekend workshops where Fellows collaborate, creating an integrated learning environment that is both enjoyable and informative.

To maximise your training benefits, you are encouraged to engage in self-directed learning using resources from our online portal and additional reading materials. Regular assessments and feedback sessions ensure that our mentorship and support are tailored specifically to individual needs. Unlike many other training programmes, you will be integrated as part of our team during your stay, observing a range of treatments in our busy day clinics and learning on the job as you would in a real clinical environment. This level of exposure provides realistic insight into the business aspects of Aesthetic Medicine.

We provide comprehensive career guidance to help you find the right direction in aesthetics. If we have vacancies for junior practitioners within our associated clinics, we will invite our trainees to apply. We also guide you in researching potential work environments, as aesthetics can be practised in various settings ranging from spas and GP/medical clinics to dental practices. We are proud that all of our certificate and fellowship candidates have successfully found work placements or established their own clinics post-training.

Upon successful completion, you will receive both digital and hard copy training certificates endorsed by Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance covering all modules completed during the programme.

Yes, all our courses are CPD accredited and you will earn 96 CPD points upon completion of the full Certificate programme.

Yes, you will be given access to online learning modules and research assignments for self-directed learning prior to attending the course. This helps ensure you get maximum benefit from the hands-on training.

Currently, the Fellowship Certificate is only available in London. We are also planning to offer training venues in Derby, Midlands, in the future.

The Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine does not include laser treatments as standard. However, it may be possible to add laser modules at an additional cost.

No, we maintain our own standards for training in Medical Aesthetics where the emphasis is placed on practical mentorship and hands-on learning rather than academic accreditation.

Currently, we do not offer finance assistance. However, you can pay in instalments: a 25% deposit is required to secure your place, with the remainder due at least 6 weeks before your start date. Please note: if there is any outstanding balance 1 month prior to your start date, your place will be cancelled and any payments made will not be refunded.
